hoodeez the hindoo

hoodeez the rapper.

I don't get it. Complex Ignorance was my favorite album of 2012, regardless of genre. To this day, it still stays in rotation in the whip while doing ignorant things( and driving home on a rainy night on my drake flow). What im tryna say tho is that it should have gotten much much much more recognition than it did. King is a mastermind and deez is that lyricist that i can relate to but still surprises me and can SPIT. I'm looking forward to more shit frim ya breddah. One love.

"I can’t stand moral absolutism. You know, there’s always that guy who wants to point out that Martin Luther King cheated on his wife— as if he obviously couldn’t have been a great person if he did something like that. Or someone will bring out an inspirational quote, and get you to agree, and then inform you that Hitler said it. As if a good thought couldn’t come from Hitler. Moral absolutism keeps us from learning from the past. It’s easy to say: ‘Hitler was a demon. Nazis were all bad seeds.’ That’s simple. It’s much harder to say: ‘Is that humanity? Is that me?’"

religions are all ladders that take you to a certain destination. the problem is - we`re all trapped in fighting over who has the better ladder and over the rules of climbing those ladders; nobody has bothered to actually climb.
